In the wake of the inequities exposed by COVID-19 and George Floyd’s death at the hands of police, companies are actively responding to social injustice in the US and around the world. Driven in part by the increased concern among employees and consumers about systemic racism, corporations have publicly committed to address the issue and its root causes in their policies, practices, and people.
As the focus on diversity, equity and inclusion has grown, many companies have volunteer-led Employee/Business Resource Groups (ERG/BRGs) in place to engage and connect employees. Over the past few years, the role of ERGs has evolved to be more strategic, with many ERG members serving as corporate recruiters and advisors. Now companies are turning to their ERGs as a key resource for shaping their response in the wake of this year’s crises, including vetting racial justice nonprofits and mobilizing employees for action.
Please join the discussion and share your company’s approach to partnering with ERG/BRGs and questions you have for your peers. This event is for ACCP members only.
